1Nebula is proud to announce that it has achieved SOC 2 Type II attestation, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued commitment to security, operational governance and the protection of customer information.
Strengthening our commitment to security, governance and trusted enterprise technology
For an organisation that builds and operates technology used within complex enterprise environments, trust is fundamental. Customers need confidence not only in what technology can do, but also in the controls, processes and operating practices that support it.
SOC 2 Type II provides independent assurance around those controls and strengthens the foundation on which 1Nebula continues to build and deliver technology for its customers.
Technology is increasingly embedded in the way organisations operate, manage information and make business decisions.
As more critical processes and data move into digital platforms, organisations are placing greater scrutiny on the technology partners they work with. Security, governance, risk management and operational discipline have therefore become important parts of the technology buying and procurement process.
SOC 2 is an assurance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service organisations. A SOC 2 Type II examination evaluates the operation of relevant controls over a defined period, providing independent assurance around the environment assessed.
For 1Nebula, achieving this milestone is an important part of continuing to earn the trust placed in us by our customers.
1Nebula has spent many years working alongside organisations to solve complex technology and operational challenges.
That experience has evolved into a combination of proprietary technology products, specialist expertise and the ability to develop bespoke solutions where organisations require something beyond an off-the-shelf approach.
Today, the 1Nebula product portfolio includes solutions such as OneView, Stactize and Surge, alongside customer-specific technology developed to address particular business requirements.
The common thread across these solutions is the need to turn technology into something organisations can use confidently, securely and at enterprise scale.
As that responsibility grows, so does the importance of the governance and operational controls behind the technology.
The SOC 2 Type II milestone strengthens the trust foundation supporting 1Nebula’s wider technology portfolio.
OneView, for example, is a Technology Expense Management Platform designed to help organisations gain greater control of technology expenditure. It brings together operational, commercial and financial information to support visibility, ownership, validation, allocation and optimisation across complex technology environments.
The wider OneView proposition is built around governed technology cost intelligence and enterprise control, making security and trust an important part of the platform's broader value to customers.
Alongside OneView, products such as Stactize and Surge demonstrate 1Nebula’s continued evolution from solving individual technology challenges to developing repeatable platforms and solutions that can support organisations at scale.
And where standard products do not fully address a customer requirement, 1Nebula's experience in designing and building bespoke solutions remains an important part of how the business creates value.
SOC 2 Type II should not be viewed simply as a compliance badge.
For 1Nebula, it reflects a broader approach to how technology should be built, operated and continuously improved.
Enterprise customers increasingly expect technology providers to demonstrate that appropriate controls exist around the environments and processes supporting their services. Independent assurance helps provide an additional level of confidence for security, risk, procurement and technology teams evaluating those providers.
The examination was conducted through Prescient Assurance, whose guidance also emphasises that maintaining SOC compliance requires ongoing monitoring of controls and continued evidence collection rather than treating the audit as a once-off exercise.
That ongoing approach aligns closely with how 1Nebula views enterprise technology: governance needs to be sustained as systems, customer requirements and risk environments continue to change.
Achieving SOC 2 Type II represents an important milestone for 1Nebula, but it is also part of a longer journey.
As we continue to develop OneView, Stactize, Surge and new bespoke solutions for our customers, we will continue investing in the security, governance and operational disciplines needed to support that responsibility.
Our objective remains simple: to build technology that helps organisations solve meaningful business problems, while giving them confidence in the systems and people behind it.
SOC 2 Type II is another important step in delivering on that commitment.
